BSE Odisha Class 10th HSC Exams 2027 Form Fill-Up Dates, Fee Details & Application Process

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, Cuttack, has released the notification for the Class-X High School Certificate (HSC) Annual Examination 2027 form fill-up process. The process caters to Regular, Quasi Regular, Ex-Regular, and Correspondence Course students. All application procedures for school students will be conducted strictly online through the Heads of the Institutions, while correspondence course applications will be managed offline by the Deputy Secretaries of the respective zonal offices.

The board has clearly stated that there will be no extension of the application deadline for this academic year. Institutions are advised to complete the process well in advance to avoid last-minute server rushes.

Eligibility Criteria

• Regular Students: Students of recognized secondary schools who were promoted to Class-X based on their Class-IX 2025-26 examination performance are eligible to apply under the school regular category.

• Ex-Regular Students: All categories of Ex-Regular students from the year 2014 and onwards can fill out the form for the Class-X HSC Exam. These candidates will appear for the exam based on the existing syllabus meant for regular students in the 2027 academic session.

• Correspondence Course (CC): Students enrolled in the Board’s Correspondence Course will apply under the CC Regular or CC Ex-Regular categories.

Odisha Class 10th HSC Exams 2027 Application Fee Details

The fee structure varies depending on the candidate’s category. Payment must be processed through the online gateway provided in the portal.

Note on Fee Exemption: Students belonging to SC and ST categories who are enrolled in Government and Government Aided Schools are fully exempted from paying the School Regular (SR) fee of Rs. 420/-.

Application Process: How to Fill the Form Online

The online registration is exclusively handled by the Head of the Institutions for regular and ex-regular school students. Students cannot apply individually.

1. Login to the Portal: The Head of the Institution must visit the official website (www.bseodisha.ac.in) and log in using the school code as the User ID and the password previously used for Class-IX enrollment.

2. Verify School Profile: Verify and update the school profile, including the medium of instruction and the department under which the school falls.

3. Registration of Regular Candidates: Data of students enrolled in Class-IX during 2025-26 will be displayed. The Head must verify the candidates, enter their PEN (Permanent Education Number), select the correct language scripts, and save the data to move them to the edit list.

4. Registration of Ex-Regular Candidates: Enter the Roll Number, UIN, and the year of the last failed examination. Upload the scanned photograph and signature for these candidates and update the list.

5. Edit and Verify: Thoroughly review the “Registered Student List for Edit”. Corrections can be made to details like Mother’s/Father’s name, Date of Birth, Gender, Language Subjects, and Aadhaar Number before final submission.

6. Payment and Declaration: Accept the final declarations confirming the authenticity of the data and proceed to the payment gateway to remit the applicable fees.

7. Download Descriptive Roll Sheet (Crucial Step): After successful payment, the Head of the Institution must download the “Descriptive Roll Sheet”. The registration process is strictly considered incomplete without downloading this sheet, and students will not be eligible to appear for the 2027 exams if this step is missed.
