Andhra Pradesh School Education – CBSE – Academic Planner 2024-25 in CBSE Affiliated Govt. Management Schools – Certain Instructions – Issued
The Government of A.P have unleashed a new era in school Education by introducing extensive curricular reforms from the academic year 2021-22, and has taken a historical decision to affiliate all the Government schools in to CBSE in a phased manner. Accordingly, it has decided to implement the CBSE pattern of Examinations in 1000 schools in phase I for the year 2024-25.
In order to establish a level of acceptable quality in all aspects of School functioning the CBSE Board may decide quality assessment criteria and accordingly make it mandatory for the schools to undergo the process quality assessment in a manner prescribed by the Board.
The Assessments in CBSE Schools for the Academic Year 2024-25 are scheduled as follows:

The Marks may be entered in the Marks register (Annexure-I) and the students’ Report Card may be issued to the students on time soon after the assessments are completed in the format enclosed (Annexure – II & III) scrupulously.
Following the advancement of the assessment schedule, the syllabus may be completed by the end of February 2024. Month-wise syllabus to be covered is as given below:

As per the CBSE Academic Planner, the new academic year session starts on April 1st and ends on March 31st. The New Academic Year 2024-25 commences on April 1st, 2024, in all the CBSE-affiliated government Schools. Planning of academic ambiances, like division of the curriculum in each subject, organization of physical education and sports, Co-curricular activities, etc., is scheduled in the planner for the academic year 2024-25, which will be followed immediately. The assessment of the FA 4 and SA 2 for the academic year 2024-25 is scheduled in February and March 2024 for classes 8th and 9th to commence the new academic year from April 1st, 2024.
Therefore, all the District Educational Officers in the state are hereby directed to instruct all the Principals/Headmasters in CBSE Affiliated Govt Management Schools to follow the above CBSE Academic Planner 2024-25 scrupulously, for 8th and 9th classes to enable and streamline to the new academic year in April 2024 as per CBSE norms to make effective functioning of all the CBSE affiliated government schools.
