AP KGBV 2025-26 Admission: ఏపీ కేజీబీవీ (కస్తూర్బా గాంధీ బాలికల విద్యాలయ) Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan(SSA), Andhra Pradesh is inviting Applications for AP Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) . Applications will be accepted online on the official Website, apkgbv.apcfss.in. The Aim of APKGBV Schools is for dropout girl children aged 10 to 14 to pursue studies in Class VI to VIII and later be admitted to Class IX at regular schools.
Online Applications for AP KGBV School Admissions are accepted from 22 March to 11 April 2025 at the Official Website apkgbv.apcfss.in.

Eligibility for Admission into AP KGBV Schools
- A Girl of 10+ age group is considered for KGBV.
- A Girl who has no primary schooling facility within a 1 km radius.
- A Girl who does not have an upper primary education facility for further studies in their village village.
- Priority is given to SC/ST/OBC girls and those belonging to BPL families
About AP KGBV
Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) is a scheme launched to set up residential schools for girls at upper primary levels belonging to the SC, ST, OBC, and minority communities. This scheme is being implemented across the state where female rural literacy is below the national average and the gender gap in literacy is above the national average. The scheme provides for a minimum reservation of 75% of the seats for girls belonging to SC, ST, OBC or minority communities and priority for the remaining 25%, to girls from families below poverty line.
