Eligibility Cut-off Marks for 2026-27 Admissions
The official document outlines the specific cut-off percentiles and scores required for eligibility to apply for undergraduate Medical and Dental courses for the 2026-27 academic year:
UR/EWS: Candidates must achieve the 50th percentile, corresponding to a score range of 715 to 213.
OBC, SC, and ST: Candidates must achieve the 40th percentile, corresponding to a score range of 212 to 177.
UR/EWS & PwBD: Candidates must achieve the 45th percentile, corresponding to a score range of 212 to 194.
OBC & PwBD and SC & PwBD: Candidates must achieve the 40th percentile, corresponding to a score range of 193 to 177.
ST & PwBD: Candidates must achieve the 40th percentile, corresponding to a score range of 191 to 177.
Key Directives for Aspirants
The University has issued several critical instructions for students and parents to keep in mind regarding the admission process:
Nature of the List: The currently released data containing NEET Roll Numbers, Ranks, and Scores is strictly for informational purposes and should not be treated as the final Merit List. The University will not entertain any correspondence regarding this list.
Application Process: A separate official notification will be published calling for online applications. Aspirants must regularly check the University website and apply only when the official schedule is released.
Final Merit Position: The Final Merit Position will be declared only after candidates submit their online applications and undergo complete verification as per the rules.
Category Verification: Category-specific eligibility based on the NEET cut-off scores will be verified subject to the submission of required community certificates. The genuineness of these certificates must be confirmed by the respective Welfare Departments (BC/SC/ST).
Special Categories: Final Merit lists for PwBD candidates and other Special Categories (including Sports & Games, Scouts and Guides, NCC, CAP, Anglo Indian, and Police Martyr Children) will be displayed only after the necessary certificates are submitted and confirmed by the concerned Competent Authorities.
