Part-A

  • The APEPDCL Exam is about objective-type multiple-choice questions.
  • The total number of questions is 80.
  • Each question carries 1 Mark.
  • The total number of marks is 80.
  • The exam is scheduled for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks in the Written Test as per rules:
  1. OC: 40%
  2. BC: 35%
  3. SC/ST: 30%

Note:

  • Weightage Marks maximum up to 20 marks for the outsourcing workers, who have been working in the organization of AP Discoms as of the date of this notification and having relevant experience and who qualify in the Written Examination.

Part-B

Pole Climbing – duration of time is 15 minutes:

  1. The candidate has to climb and descend the pole within 15 minutes.
  2. Candidate does not fall down while climbing or descending the pole.
  3. Candidate should touch the top of the pole.
  4. Second chance of climbing of pole is ceased.

Note: The candidates who fail in any one of the above tests (a to c) are disqualified.
