BHEL Jhansi Apprentice Vacancy Details

BHEL Jhansi has announced a total of 47 vacancies distributed across various engineering disciplines and trades. The majority of seats are reserved for ITI holders in the Trade Apprentice category, followed by specific openings for Diploma and Degree engineering candidates in branches like Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil.

BHEL Jhansi Apprentice – Education Details

• Trade Apprentice (ITI): Candidates must have passed 10th class and possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from an NCVT/SCVT recognized institute (Passed between 2023–2025).

• Technician Apprentice (Diploma): A 3-year full-time Diploma in the relevant branch of engineering from an AICTE-recognized institute (Passed in 2023 or later).

• Graduate Apprentice (Degree): A 4-year full-time B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant engineering branch (Passed in 2023 or later).

• Minimum Marks: General/OBC candidates require at least 60%, while SC/ST candidates require 55% in qualifying exams.

Stipend Details

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend as per the Apprenticeship Act:

Training Period: 1 Year (12 Months)

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 27 Years

Relaxation: SC/ST (5 years), OBC-NCL (3 years), and PwD (10 years) as per government norms.

Selection Process

The selection will be conducted through the following stages:

1. Shortlisting: Based on marks obtained in the qualifying degree/diploma/ITI (1:10 ratio).

2. Written Examination: Shortlisted candidates will appear for a trade/discipline-specific written test.

3. Merit List: Final selection is based on the marks secured in the written examination.

4. Verification: Document verification and Medical Examination.
