Central Bank of India Recruitment 2026 Vacancy Details

The bank has announced 350 vacancies across the Specialist Category. The majority of the openings are for the Marketing Officer role, which requires less experience compared to the specialized Foreign Exchange Officer role. Education & Experience Details

Candidates must strictly meet the eligibility criteria as of 01.01.2026.

  • Marketing Officer (Scale I):

    • Full-time Graduation in any discipline AND Full-time MBA / PGDBA / PGDBM / PGPM / PGDM with a specialization in Marketing. Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience, out of which at least 1 year must be continuous experience in the Marketing domain in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector.

  • Foreign Exchange Officer (Scale III):

    • Graduate in any discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with CFA, CA, or MBA. Certificate in Foreign Exchange Operations from IIBF is mandatory. Minimum 5 years of experience as an Officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank. Out of this, at least 3 years must be in Trade Finance, Forex Operations, or IBU-Gift City.

Salary Structure

Selected candidates will receive a handsome salary along with standard banking perks like DA, HRA, and CCA.

  • Foreign Exchange Officer (Scale III): Basic Pay range typically starts around ₹85,920 (Scale III Pay Scale).

  • Marketing Officer (Scale I): Basic Pay range typically starts around ₹48,480 (Scale I Pay Scale).

Age Limit (As on 01.01.2026)

  • Marketing Officer (Scale I): 22 to 30 Years
  • Foreign Exchange Officer (Scale III): 25 to 35 Years

Relaxation: Upper age relaxation is available for SC/ST (5 Years), OBC (3 Years), and PwBD candidates as per government norms.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a two-stage process:

  1. Online Written Examination: An objective test assessing professional knowledge and aptitude.

  2. Personal Interview: Candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for an interview. The final selection will be based on the consolidated marks of both stages (Weightage 70:30).

Application Fee

  • SC / ST / PwBD / Women Candidates: ₹175 (Intimation Charges only)

  • All Other Candidates: ₹850 (Application Fee + Intimation Charges)
