CSIR-NAL Recruitment 2025: Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL), Bengaluru is an Autonomous Body under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. CSIR-NAL has a strong programme in Civil Aviation including the nationally important project of design and development of a multirole Light Transport Aircraft (SARAS).

CSIR-NAL is looking for bright and highly motivated Technical support staff to participate in the exciting task of Aerospace R&D, Technology Development and related applications. CSIR-NAL invites ONLINE applications for recruitment to the posts of Technician-1 as per the details given below. Please fill the Online Application Form carefully.

Vacancy Details: UR-30, OBC-27, EWS-08, SC-15, ST-06 (Out of the above, ESM – 08, Sports – 04 and PwBD:06 (including three backlog)

Qualification:

SSC / 10th Standard / SSC or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and ITI certificate or national / state trade Certificate in respective Field

SSC / 10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 2 years full-time experience as an apprentice trainee from a recognized Institution in the respective Field

SSC / 10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 3 years of work experience in the respective Field in a Ministry / Department / Organisation / Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Body under the Government of India / State / UT.

Age Limit: 28 Years (UR)**

Age relaxation wherever applicable shall be granted as per CSIR/GoI guidelines

Salary: Pay Level in Pay Matrix (as per 7^th CPC) Level – 2 (Rs.19,900 – 63,200)

Selection Process: The Selection procedure consists of two stages i.e Stage-I and Stage-II.

In Stage-I, the candidates as recommended/shortlisted by the duly constituted Screening Committee will be called for Trade Test.

The Screening Committee will adopt its own criteria for short listing the candidates to be called for Trade Test.

Individuals who qualify in the Trade test will be invited for the second stage where candidates have to appear in competitive written examination consisting of Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III

Paper-II and Paper-III will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure minimum threshold marks (to be determined by the Selection Committee) in the Paper-I.

The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in Paper-II and Paper-III.

Application Fee:

Candidates are to furnish the E-receipt of SB Collect Reference No. , date amount ₹500/- while filling the online application form after successful e-payment through SB Collect, failing which application will be rejected. However, application fee-exempted applicants (SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-Servicemen) are required to mention 00 application fee in the space provided while submission.

Application Process:

Eligible candidates are required to apply online by accessing the website www.nal.res.in. No other mode of application will be entertained.

After submission of ONLINE application, candidates are requested to download the application and keep the same with them as the facility of downloading of application will not be available after the last date. Candidates should mandatorily preserve hard copy of the application along with proof of application fee, its enclosures, if any, for their record and they should produce it as and when asked for submission by authorities of CSIR-NAL. Candidates are requested not to send or post the hard copy of the application to CSIR-NAL but to be retained with them.
