Education Details
Candidates must possess at least a First Division Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or a First Division Master’s Degree in relevant scientific disciplines from a recognized university.
Scientist ‘E’: Minimum 11 years of experience in research, design, or development in the relevant field.
Scientist ‘D’: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
Scientist ‘C’: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Age Limit
- Scientist ‘D’ & ‘E’: Not exceeding 45 years as on the closing date.
- Scientist ‘C’: Not exceeding 35 years as on the closing date.
Relaxations: Up to 10 years for Divyang/PwD candidates and 5 years for serving Civilian Central Govt Employees. The maximum age shall not exceed 56 years including any age relaxations.
Selection Process
- Administrative Screening: Initial check for verification of identity, age, qualifications, and suitable experience.
- Technical Screening (Level-1): Bio-data based screening by a Technical Screening Committee.
- Preliminary Online Interview (Level-2): Conducted if the number of shortlisted candidates is high.
- Final Personal Interview: Candidates must appear in person at RAC, Delhi, and score a minimum of 75% marks (75 out of 100) for final selection.

- SC, ST, Divyang, and Women Candidates: Exempted from application fee payment.
