Eastern Coalfields Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

This apprenticeship training is for one year, and the contract will be automatically terminated on completion of one year from the date of commencement of practical training.

Educational Qualifications

a. Applicant must possess a degree or diploma in the discipline of application for PGPT or PDPT, respectively.
b. He /She has secured at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination, i.e., in the Degree or Diploma, as the case may be.
c. Applicant has registered themselves on the NATS portal for PGPT or PDPT in the discipline of application.
d. Valid call letter has been issued to him by BoPT through NATS Portal.
e. Mobile number on e-Aadhaar downloaded from the website of UIDAI shall be the same number used for registration on the NATS portal.
f. Successfully clears document verification.
g. Candidates must comply with all these criteria to be eligible for engagement as an APPRENTICE.

Age Limit

As per rules. Age Relaxations for SC/ST/BC/PWD and Other Reserved Contenders will be provided as per the rules.

Stipend Details

Selected candidates will get a Monthly Stipend as follows.

For PGPT- RS 4500/- per month by ECL and Rs 4,500 /- per month by Gol as DBT through BoPT.

For PDPT- RS 4000/- per month by ECL and Rs 4,000 /- per month by Gol as DBT through BoPT.

Aadhaar must be enabled for DBT (Direct Beneficiary Transfer) to receive Gol share as applicable.

Candidate must submit following documents along with duly filled in application format, while reporting to HRD on issue of Call letter from BoPT and also produce original certificates for verification.

Self-attested copy of Matriculation passing certificate
Self-attested copy of Final year Degree/Diploma passing certificate
Self-attested copy of Final year Mark Sheet of Degree/Diploma
Self-attested Registration copy of NATS
e-Aadhaar of candidate downloaded from website of UIDAI
Bank details copy (Aadhaar link) as uploaded on the NATS portal
Caste Certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC etc. (OBC certificate is valid for one year from its date of issue)
One pass port size recent photo
Affidavit for undertaking as per attached format.

How To Apply

Interested candidates are advised to register themselves on the NATS portal and opt for ECL on or before 11/09/2025, as the FTP (Facilitate Training & Placement) module (which is used for issuing award/call letters for apprenticeship placements) will be done after 11/09/2025.
