Indian Bank Apprentice Jobs: Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must be either –

  1. a Citizen of India or
  2. a subject of Nepal or
  3. a subject of Bhutan or
  4. a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
  5. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Educational Qualifications

Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualifications recognized as such by the Central Government. Candidates should have completed & have passing certificate for their graduation on or after 01.04.2021.

Age Limit as on 01.07.2025

Minimum 20 years and Maximum 28 years as on cut-off date. However, relaxation in upper age limit for categories like SC/ST/OBC/PWBD etc. as per Govt. of India guidelines is applicable.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will receive a Stipend of Rs. 12000 – Rs. 15000 from the organization.

Selection Process

The candidates will be selected based on performance in Online Exam, Local Language Test.

The Online Test (Objective multiple choice Type) will consist of five parts / sections:

How to Apply

All eligible candidates need to register himself/herself on the apprenticeship portal (NATS Portal) at nats.education.gov.in before applying for apprenticeship in the Bank.

  • Candidates can apply online from 18.07.2025 to 07.08.2025. No other mode of application will be accepted.
  • Candidates to visit the Bank’s website www.indianbank.in and click on the careers page and/or https://www.nats.education.gov.in and then click on Engagement of Apprentices in Indian Bank – 2025.
  • To register applications, choose the tab “Click here for New Registration” enter Name, contact details and e-mail-ID. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An e-mail & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
