JEECUP 2024 Application Form, Eligibility, Dates & Exam Pattern

JEECUP/UPJEE 2024 Registration Starts @ jeecup.admissions.nic.in: UP Polytechnic Entrance Exam 2024 Date has been revised by Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh. JEECUP (UP Polytechnic Entrance Exam 2024) Application Last Date has been extended till May 10, 2024. 

JEECUP 2024 Exam is a gateway to Admissions in the Polytechnic Colleges in Uttar Pradesh. The exam will be conducted in May 2024. The admit cards for the examination will be available on the official website on March 12. Exams will be administered based on the following groups: group A, group E1, and E2, group B, C, D, G, H, I, K1 through K8, and group L. Those who want to enrol in Uttar Pradesh’s public and private polytechnic colleges must take the UPJEE (Polytechnic).

JEECUP 2024: Eligibility Criteria

The main Qualification is the Student must be a Permanent Resident of Uttar Pradesh.

• Group A, Diploma in Engineering & Technology, eligibility requirement 10^th class passed and appeared in minimum possible 35% marks.
• B Group, Agriculture Engineering, eligibility requirement 10th passed or appeared with Agriculture subject in XII.
• Group C, Home Science, Fashion Design, and Textile Design & Engineering, eligibility requirement 10th passed or appeared with minimum possible 35% marks.
• Group D, Modern Office Management & Secretarial Practice, and Library & Information Science, eligibility criteria 12th class passed or appeared with language subjects such as English and Hindi or else passed12th class or appeared
• E Group, Diploma in Pharmacy, eligibility requirement includes10+2 Examination in science with at least 50% marks for those who belong to Unreserved or OBC category and 45% marks for those who belong to SC or ST category
• F Group, M.A. in Biotechnology, eligibility requirement comprises of B.Sc Passed/ or appeared in Chemistry, Biology/Biochemistry
• Group G, Post Graduate Diploma Courses, eligibility criteria include Graduation in any of the disciplines
• H Group, Diploma in Hotel Management eligibility criteria includes 12th passed or appeared with 50% marks (GEN/OBC) and 45% (SC/ST)
• Group I, Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and eligibility criteria includes passed or appeared in 12th Science and must have attained 50% marks in PCM
• J Group, Post Diploma in Information Technology, eligibility includes that candidate must have passed Engineering diploma or appeared from BTEUP affiliated institute

JEECUP 2024: Exam Pattern

• Mode of Exam: Offline
• Medium of Exam: Questions will be available in both English and Hindi.
• No. of Questions: 100 objective-type questions.
• Exam Duration: 3 Hours
• Marking Scheme: 4 Marks will be awarded for a correct answer
• Negative Marking: 1 Mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
• Paper: A separate paper will be conducted for each group of course.

JEECUP 2024 Exam Centres

JEECUP 2024 will be conducted in all districts of Uttar Pradesh.

JEECUP 2024: Result

The JEECUP 2024 result will be released after the General ability test, creative ability test, and interview. It will be published online. Students must enter their application number, roll number, and date of birth to check the result online and download the scorecard.
The result of the entrance examination shall be announced on the official website of UPJEE.

JEECUP 2024 Counselling

The JEECUP 2024 counselling process will start after the Results are released. Candidates must register online first to participate in the counselling process. Only candidates who are eligible for counselling rounds will have a common merit rank.
