RBI Grade B Officer 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Post – Specialists in Grade B Qualification
Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)–(General)
Minimum 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PwBD) or an equivalent grade in Bachelor’s degree as well as in 12th (or Diploma or equivalent) and 10th Standard examinations. Minimum qualifying percentage or an equivalent grade for the Bachelor’s degree will be in aggregate for all semesters/years
Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)–DEPR
A Master’s Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course/ Finance, with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University /Institute; OR PGDM/ MBA Finance with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University /Institute; OR Master’s Degree in Economics in any of the sub-categories of economics i.e. agricultural/ business/ developmental/ applied, etc., with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University /Institute.
Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)–DSIM
Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade (aggregate of all semesters/years) OR Master’s Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years and a one-year postgraduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from a reputed Institute OR M. Stat. Degree of Indian Statistical Institute with a minimum of 55% marks (aggregate of all semesters/years) OR Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) jointly offered by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur, and IIM Calcutta with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years.
Finance
i) 2 year full time Post Graduate Degree in Economics / Commerce / MBA (Finance) / PGDM (with Finance specialization) from an Indian University recognized by Government bodies/ AICTE or a similar Foreign University /Institute, with at least 55% marks.
ii) At least three years of work experience in corporate credit appraisal, corporate loan recovery, investment & treasury (including derivatives) in a Scheduled Commercial Bank/s or a Systemically Important NBFC.
Data Analytics
i) 2 year full time MBA (Finance) /M.Stat from an Indian University recognized by Government bodies/ AICTE or a similar Foreign University /Institute, with at least 55% marks.
i) At least three years of work experience as a data analyst in areas of credit/ market/ liquidity risk in a Scheduled Commercial Bank/s or a Systemically Important NBFC or in a rating agency established at least 10 years back.
Risk Modelling
i) 2 year full time MBA (Finance) / M.Stat from an Indian University recognized by Government bodies/ AICTE or a similar Foreign University /Institute, with at least 55% marks.
ii) At least three years of work experience in risk modelling in areas of credit/ market/ liquidity risk in a Scheduled Commercial Bank/s or a Systemically Important NBFC or in a rating agency established at least 10 years back.
Forensic Audit
i) CA/ ICWA with Certificate Course on Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection conducted by ICAI.
ii) At least three years of specialized work experience in the area of forensic Audit and being a part of forensic audit team in Central / State Government Undertaking or Departments.
Professional Copy Editing
i) Full time Post Graduate Degree in English from an Indian University recognized by Government bodies or a Foreign University /Institute, with at least 55% marks.
ii) At least three years of work experience in professional copy editing in a well-known Publishing House, Magazine or Journal. Experience of rewriting user generated content to professional standards. Excellent standard of written English. Excellent proofreading skills
Human Resource Management
i) Full time Post Graduate Diploma/ Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management / Personnel Management/Industrial Relations/ Labour Welfare from a recognised Indian or Foreign University /Institute with at least 55% marks.
ii) At least three years work experience in the field of Human Resource Management/ recruitment/ training/ Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations in domestic / foreign Banks / FIs / reputed financial companies / financial services organizations / reputed public or private corporate.

  • Fill application form.
  • Pay the application fee.
  • Click on submit button for final submission.

RBI Specialist Grade B Exam Pattern 2023

RBI Grade B Exam Pattern 2023: RBI Grade B Exam comprises of two phases i.e. Phase I and Phase II. Those candidates who clear both the exams that is phase 1 & phase 2 examination will be called for the final interview. Here in this part of Article We try to Explain the Complete Recruitment Process.
Marking Scheme

  • For every correct answer, students will be awarded 1 mark
