The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2025 under Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) No. 03/2025, offering a total of 434 vacancies across various paramedical staff positions in Indian Railways. The recruitment process includes roles such as Nursing Superintendent, Pharmacist (Entry Grade), Dialysis Technician, ECG Technician, Laboratory Assistant Grade II, Radiographer X-Ray Technician, and Health & Malaria Inspector Grade III.

RRB Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

NATIONALITY / CITIZENSHIP:

A candidate must be either:

  • a citizen of India, or
  • a citizen of Nepal, or
  • a subject of Bhutan, or
  • a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before 01.01.1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  • a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above, shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Educational Qualifications

Health & Malaria Inspector Grade III B.Sc. having studied Chemistry as Main / Optional subject in any branch of Chemistry while undertaking thecourse. Plus (a) One year Diploma of Health / Sanitary Inspector OR (b) One year National Trade Certificate(NTC) in Health Sanitary Inspector awarded by National Council for Vocational Training, Ministry of Labourand Employment, Government of India, New Delhi.
Pharmacist (Entry Grade) 10+2 in Science or its equivalent, with Diploma in Pharmacy from recognized institution and registered asPharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 (OR) Bachelor degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharma)
Radiographer X-ray Technician10+2 with Physics and Chemistry and Diploma in Radiography / X Ray Technician / Radio diagnosisTechnology (2 years course) from recognized Institute. Science graduates with Diploma in Radiography / XRay Technician / Radio diagnosis Technology (2 years course) shall be preferred.

Application Fee

Candidates will have to pay the prescribed fee as per their community/category detailed below:

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected as per their performance in

  1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  2. Document Verification
  3. Medical Examination

Shortlisting of candidates for DV and Medical Examination shall be done RRB-wise at the rate of 1:1 of the vacancies for that RRB. It will be based on their merit in CBT. Normalisation of marks will be done for CBTs held in multiple shifts. The shortlisted candidates for DV shall be informed through official RRB websites as well as via SMS and email (to their registered mobile number and email ID) to download their E-call letters for appearing in DV.
