SSA Chandigarh JBT Teacher Recruitment 2025 Out for 218 Posts

Samagra Shiksha, Chandigarh, invites online applications from eligible candidates to fill up 218 posts of Junior Basic Teacher (JBTs) (Primary Teacher, class-1-V) on contract basis. Eligible and Interested candidates can apply online through the official website, i.e., ssachd.nic.in, from 7 August 2025 to 28th August 2025.

SSA Chandigarh Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should possess the essential qualification as on the Closing date of submission of application.

Educational Qualifications

• Graduate or its equivalent from a recognised University and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (by whatever name known) of not less than 02 years duration recognised by NCTE.
• Pass in  Central  Teacher  Eligibility  Test (CTET) conducted in accordance with the Guidelines framed by NCTE.

Age Limit

Candidates age should be strictly between 21 to 37 years as on 01.01.2025.

Relaxation to SC/OBC/ESM/PwBD and other category candidates will be given as per the instructions issued by Govt. of India/Chandigarh Administration.

Salary Details

Selected Candidates will Get Salary Fixed remuneration of Rs. 45260/-per month as revised from time to time by the society. as Per Regulations of SSA Chandigarh

Application Fee

Application  fee (non-refundable) amounting to Rs.1000/- (Rs. 500/- in case of SC) will be accepted through online mode upto 30.08.2025 (upto 02.00 PM). Persons with disability are exempted for payment of fee as per instructions issued by Govt. of India. Selection Process

Candidates will be Selected as per their performance in Written Examination, Document verification Merit list for selection will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained in Objective Type Test. One objective type tests of 150 Marks will be conducted. Qualifying marks for test will be 40% for all candidates. No interview will be conducted.

Applications can be submitted only ‘ONLINE’ from 07.08.2025 (11.00 AM onwards) to 28.08.2025 (upto 05.00 PM) on  the  website  i.e.  https://www.ssachd.nic.in/. However, last date to deposit the fee is 30.08.2025 (upto 02.00 PM).
