TGMS 1st Year Intermediate Admissions 2026-27: RMSA Rashtriya Madyamika Shiksha Abhiyan and Telangana School Education Dept have given notification for Online Applications from eligible 10th class students from the State of Telangana for the Admissions into Inter 1st Year and for Vacant Seats in 2nd Year in 194 Telangana Model Schools. Apply Online for Courses M.P.C Bi.P.C, M.E.C and C.E.C. For the intermediate group, each group will have 40 students. These institutions are co-educational and follow the state syllabus with Telugu as 2nd language in the intermediate course.

TGMS Inter 1st Year Admission Eligibility
Telangana Model Schools/Jr. Colleges have been established in 194 Educationally Backward Mandals in Telangana State. IDcaterto the needs of students of those Educational Backward Mandals on par with Kendriya Vidyalayas by providing free quality education by well-qualified teachers in English medium from Classes VI to X and Intermediate.
Those who passed with good Points in SSC/Class 10th in the March 2026 final exams can apply for First-Year admissions in the M.P.C., Bi.P.C., M.E.C., and C.E.C. English-medium groups in Model Schools for First-Year Intermediate.

- Total education Is free for entire course.
- The medium of instruction is English.
- All Model Schools have well-furnished infrastructure and buildings.
- Free TextBooks will be supplied to all students of the institute.
- All the Model Schools have well-established and well-equipped Science &
- Computer Laboratories, Library, Sports/Games Room & AtalTinkering Labs.
- All the Seats will be filled up through Merit and duly following the rule of reservation
- Girls Hostel facility for 100 Girls students is available in 170 Model Schools and
- Preference is given to Intermediate Students.
What is the Selection Process for TSMS Inter Admissions?
It Is informed that. Admission criteria for Intermediate 1st year are based on the Marks/Grade secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination, i.e., SSC or its equivalent, and also based on the under-mentioned rule of reservation:
The Selection to TSMS Intermediate is on the basis of SSC Public Exam Grading Points obtained by candicates and as per Reservations in TS.

How to ApplyThe
Procedure for Admission:
- The candidate has to fill in the application in the website
http://telanqanams.cqq.gov.in/
- The candidate has to log in to the website, open the application form, and fill in all the necessary details as specified in the form. They have to upload the photograph and signature.
- Before submitting the online application, the candidate should ensure that all details are filled in, submit the application, and take a printout of the completed online application.
- Filled in online application along with enclosures, i.e., copies of SSC marks sheet, caste certificate, Adhaar Card, and submitted to the Principal concerned as per the admission schedule given.
- The Principal will form a committee at the school level with PGTs of the concerned group and verify the certificate marks/grades secured in SSC, and prepare a provisional selection list.
- While preparing selection lists, a waiting list of 20% seats shall also be prepared, and candidates will be admitted in the order of the selection list from the waiting list for the left-over vacancies from the selection lists.
- The selection list should get approved by the District Collector or his nominee through the DEO.
- The selection list should be displayed on the school’s notice board after approval by the District Collector.
- The Principal of the Model School of the Mandal shall take steps to admit selected students, duly verifying the certificates, and maintain the Admission and Withdrawal Register for the School.
In accordance with the reservation rule, students who passed from the Model School should be given preference. Then preference should be given to local students, and, if any seats are left over, they may be given to students from other Mandals.
Offline Application Submit Process :
Candidates who wish to apply offline can download the TS Model School Inter Admission 2022 Application form, fill it with the required student details, and submit it directly to the nearest Model School Principal.
