Exam Details
The TNPSC Group 2 selection process is a multi-stage cycle designed to recruit capable candidates for various administrative posts in the Tamil Nadu state government.
Preliminary Exam: Held on September 28, 2025, this objective-type exam served as a screening test. Marks obtained here are only for shortlisting to the Mains and do not count for the final ranking.
Mains Examination: Qualified candidates will appear for the Mains on February 8, 2026.
Paper I: Tamil Eligibility Test (Descriptive) – Qualifying nature.
Paper II: General Studies (Descriptive) – Marks secured here determine the final rank.
Interview: Applicable only for Group II Interview posts. Group IIA posts will be filled based on Mains marks alone.
