TS ECET 2026 is A Common Entrance Test designated in full as the Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test for a Diploma in Engineering / Technology / Pharmacy and B.Sc.(Mathematics) Degree candidates, as well as TS ECET [FDH & B.Sc.(Mathematics)] – JNT University Hyderabad will conduct on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education(TSCHE) for 2026-27:
- For lateral admission through the Common Entrance Test into 2nd year regular B.E/B.Tech Courses in both University and Private Un-aided Professional Institutions (Minority & Non-Minority ) approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

Telangana Engineering Common Entrance Test—TS ECET 2026 is an entrance test for candidates to be admitted to 2nd-year engineering, Pharmacy, etc. In many states of India, qualifying for the entrance test is a prerequisite for joining the admissions program at Telangana Universities/Colleges.

TS ECET 2026 Eligibility
Candidates should satisfy the following requirements to be eligible for appearing for the TS ECET [FDH & B.Sc. (Mathematics)] – 2026.
They should be of Indian Nationality.
They should belong to the State of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy local/nonlocal status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974 as subsequently amended. The same is adapted to the State of Telangana G.O.Ms. No. 33 dated 31.12.2014.
They should have obtained a Diploma in Engineering and Technology / Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other Diploma recognized by the Government of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh as equivalent there to for admission into the relevant B.E./ B. Tech./ B. Pharmacy Courses corresponding to the Diploma as given in the Instruction Booklet.

They should have passed the 3 – year B.Sc. Degree examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the group combination from a recognized University in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh State or its equivalent for entry into relevant courses as given in the Instruction Booklet.

- The application fee is Rs. 900/- (Rs. 500 for SC/ST category).
- Candidates can make payments through AP Online/TS Online or from Eseva/ Meseva.

Qualifying marks in TS ECET [FDH & B.Sc. (Mathematics)] – 2026.
The qualifying percentage marks for obtaining a rank in TS ECET [FDH & B.Sc. (Mathematics)] – 2026 is 25% of the aggregate marks in the four subjects [Three subjects for B.Sc. (Mathematics)], i.e., 50 marks out of a total of 200. However, in the case of SC / ST candidates, there shall be no minimum qualifying marks for ranking the candidates. The rank obtained with the benefit of relaxation of the minimum qualifying marks at the TS ECET [FDH & B.Sc. (Mathematics)] – 2026 by any candidate claiming to belong to SC/ST category will be cancelled in case the claim is found to be invalid at the time of admission..

- It is the 3 hours duration examination. The timings of the test will be 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. One mark is assigned to every question.
- All the photographs submitted with the application must be exactly identical. Otherwise, Hall Tickets will not be issued. Such applications will be summarily rejected.
- Candidates cannot submit their online application after the due date.
- Candidates will not be allowed into the Examination hall after 10.00 A.M. and will not be permitted to leave the hall before 01.00 P.M.
- The TS ECET-2018 test will be conducted in ONLINE mode only.
- It is the candidate’s responsibility to ensure that he / she is answering the correct Question Paper of the branch for which he / she has applied.
- The Question paper will be in English only.
