Education Details
Qualification: Candidates must possess a regular full-time Under Graduate degree in any discipline from a University or Institution recognized by AICTE, DOTE, or UGC.
Graduation Year: The degree must have been received between July 2021 and 2025 (specifically not earlier than 01.07.2021).
Exclusions: Candidates with a Post-Graduate degree, an Integrated Postgraduate course, or one year or more of previous work experience/training are not eligible.
Monthly Stipend
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹9,000/-.
UIIC will pay ₹4,500/- directly, and the remaining ₹4,500/- (Government share) will be credited to the apprentice’s bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Age Limit (as on 01.12.2025)
Minimum Age: 21 years.
Maximum Age: 28 years.
Candidates must have been born between 01.12.1997 and 01.12.2004 (both days inclusive).
Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD candidates per Government of India guidelines.
Selection Process
Shortlisting: The Board of Apprenticeship Training (Southern Region) will shortlist candidates based on the percentage of marks secured in the qualifying Graduate Degree Examination.
Merit Tie-Breaker: If percentages are equal, the older candidate will be placed higher in the merit list.
Verification: Shortlisted candidates must appear in person for document verification at designated UIIC offices.
