UP Police Computer Operator Vacancy Details

Education Qualification

To be eligible for the Computer Operator Grade A post, candidates must meet the following educational criteria:

• Intermediate (10+2): Passed from a recognized board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

• Technical Qualification: Must possess an “O” Level certificate from DOEACC (NIELIT) OR a Diploma in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution.

Salary Structure

Selected candidates will be paid according to the Pay Matrix Level-4.

• Pay Scale: ₹25,500 – ₹81,100

• Grade Pay: ₹2,400 (Pre-revised)

Age Limit

The age limit is calculated as of 01 July 2025.

• Minimum Age: 18 Years

• Maximum Age: 28 Years

• Candidates must be born between 01 July 1997 and 01 July 2007.

• Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per UP Government rules.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a multi-stage process to test the candidate’s knowledge and technical skills:

1. Written Examination: An objective type test covering General Knowledge, Mental Aptitude, Reasoning, and Computer Science (Total 200 Marks).

2. Typing Test: Qualifying in nature.

   • Hindi: Minimum 25 wpm.

   • English: Minimum 30 wpm.

3. Document Verification (DV).

4. Medical Examination.
