Find the Value of √2?

Step 1: After 2 place decimal point.
Step 2: After decimal point write 0’s.
Step 3: Group ‘0’ in pairs and put a bar over them.
Step 4: Then after following the method of finding the square root of the perfect square.
Note: If you go on finding the value of √2. you observe that √2 = 1.4142135623731….. is
neither terminating nor repeating decimal. So this is called Irrational Number..
