Vacancy Details

ECIL has announced a total of 200 Technical Officer vacancies divided into three main engineering categories. Candidates can apply for the discipline that best matches their core engineering degree.

Education Details

• Candidates must possess a regular B.E. or B.Tech. degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Electronics, ECE, ETC, EEE, Electrical, Computer Science, IT, Mechanical, or Industrial Production).
• A minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University or Institute is mandatory (relaxed to 50% for SC/ST candidates).
• Experience Requirement: A minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience in Production, Operations, Repair, Maintenance, or Testing is required. An apprenticeship of up to one year in the relevant field is also counted toward this experience requirement.

Salary

Selected Technical Officers will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration that increases based on their tenure with the organization:

• 1st Year: ₹25,000 per month
• 2nd Year: ₹28,000 per month
• 3rd & 4th Year: ₹31,000 per month

Age Limit

• The maximum age limit for General (UR) candidates is 30 years as of the selection date.
• Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) receive an additional 10-year age relaxation.

Selection Process

Selection will be purely based on a candidate’s academic merits, experience, and performance during the walk-in interview. The weightage breakdown is as follows:

• Academic Qualification: 20% weightage of the aggregate percentage scored in the B.E./B.Tech. degree.
• Relevant Experience: Maximum 30 Marks (10 marks for the initial 1 year of experience, and 10 marks for each additional year).
• Personal Interview: 50 Marks.
• Note: Document verification will be conducted at the venue prior to the personal interview.
