Age Limit
UR/EWS Candidates: The upper age limit is 33 years as of 30.09.2026. (Exception: Maximum 41 years for Steward cum Cook).
OBC (NCL) Candidates: The upper age limit is 36 years as of 30.09.2026.
Age Relaxations: SC/ST candidates receive a 5-year relaxation, and OBC-NCL candidates receive a 3-year relaxation over the UR limit. Ex-Servicemen and PwBD candidates are granted relaxation as per Government of India guidelines, but the maximum age after all relaxations cannot exceed 56 years.
Selection Process
Written Test: Conducted via Computer Based Test (CBT) or Pen and Paper Test (PBT). The test comprises 25% General Aptitude and 75% subject/trade-related questions.
Document Verification: Preceding the practical exam to validate credentials.
Skill/Trade Test: Evaluates practical capabilities. Depending on the post, the weightage is either 50% Written / 50% Skill, 40% Written / 60% Skill, or 30% Written / 70% Skill.
Application Fee
General, EWS & OBC Candidates: ₹200/- (Non-Refundable).
SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Internal Candidates: Exempted from fee payment.
Payment Mode: Online exclusively through SBI e-pay using Debit card, Credit card, or Net Banking.
