The Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE) is a national-level entrance test conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for admission into its B.Tech programmes across multiple campuses in India. AEEE 2026 will be held in two phases as Computer-Based Tests (CBT). Candidates can appear in one or both phases; the best score will be used for admission and ranking. The exam evaluates analytical ability and understanding of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Quantitative Aptitude.

Age limit / Birth Date
Candidates born on or after 1st July 2005 are eligible.
Educational Qualifications
Passed or appearing in 10+2 / Class XII or equivalent from recognized board.
Mandatory Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
Minimum Marks
- 60% aggregate in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).
- 50% minimum in each of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Nationality
Indian Nationals / NRI / OCI / PIO holders can apply.
Foreign applicants studying abroad can also apply through Amrita Center for International Programmes.

B.Tech Scholarship Policies
B.Tech Scholarships are awarded to the top candidates registering for the Centralised Seat Allotment Process with AEEE 2026 Ranks or JEE Mains 2026 Percentile.
- The Centralized Seat Allotment Process is conducted after the publication of the AEEE 2026 ranks.
- No specific rank range is required to avail the scholarship.
- More than 70% of seats are earmarked in the scholarship category.
- Scholarship seats are earmarked separately for AEEE and JEE candidates.
