The Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE) is a national-level entrance test conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for admission into its B.Tech programmes across multiple campuses in India. AEEE 2026 will be held in two phases as Computer-Based Tests (CBT). Candidates can appear in one or both phases; the best score will be used for admission and ranking. The exam evaluates analytical ability and understanding of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Quantitative Aptitude.

AEEE 2026 Exam Details

  • Mode: Computer Based Test (CBT)

  • Total Duration: 150 minutes (2 hrs 30 min)

  • Subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, Quantitative Aptitude

  • Total Questions: 100

  • Marking Scheme:

    • +3 marks for each correct answer

    • –1 mark for each incorrect answer

AEEE is conducted in selected cities across India and certain Middle East centres based on registration and candidate demand.

AEEE 2026 Eligibility Details

Age limit / Birth Date

  • Candidates born on or after 1st July 2005 are eligible.

Educational Qualifications

  • Passed or appearing in 10+2 / Class XII or equivalent from recognized board.

  • Mandatory Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.

Minimum Marks

  • 60% aggregate in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).
  • 50% minimum in each of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Nationality

  • Indian Nationals / NRI / OCI / PIO holders can apply.

  • Foreign applicants studying abroad can also apply through Amrita Center for International Programmes.

  2. Register with valid email and mobile number.
  3. Fill in personal and academic details.
  4. Upload scanned photo and signature.
  5. Choose preferred examination cities (three preferences).
  6. Pay the application fee online.
  7. Complete slot booking after registration.
  8. Download admit card once available.

Important: Once the information is submitted, no corrections are permitted.

B.Tech Scholarship Policies

B.Tech Scholarships are awarded to the top candidates registering for the Centralised Seat Allotment Process with AEEE 2026 Ranks or JEE Mains 2026 Percentile.

  • The Centralized Seat Allotment Process is conducted after the publication of the AEEE 2026 ranks.
  • No specific rank range is required to avail the scholarship.
  • More than 70% of seats are earmarked in the scholarship category.
  • Scholarship seats are earmarked separately for AEEE and JEE candidates.
