BRAOU B.Ed.- ODL 2023-24 Notification: Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad has Released the Entrance Test Notification for Admission into the Bachelor of Education Programme [B.Ed.–ODL] 2023-24 (Recognised by NCTE)

BRAOU B.Ed-ODL Registration Process

The candidate has to register for appearing B.Ed. Admission Entrance Test on University portal www.braouonline.in only. Commencement of Payment and Submission of Online Application Forms from 22-01-2024. Registration fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) and S.C.,/S.T/PWD candidates may pay Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty only) online on or before 21-02-2024. With a late fee of Rs. 500/- applications can be submitted on or before 26-02-2024.

Note: The Candidates who have completed their Under Graduation / Post Graduation on or before July, 2023 are eligible for Admission and appear for Entrance Test.

Go through the following instructions and register accordingly.

1. Visit the University portal www.braouonline.in
2. Documents and others details required for submission of Application through Online.

    

3. Fill the application form ON-LINE based on your certificates/documents. (Please verify Model Online Application form and instructions to fill the application ON-LINE in the University portal).

    

4. If any wrong information is provided in the application form, it is the responsibility of the applicant only.

    

5. After submitting the form, take a print out and pay the registration fee mentioning the reference number of the application.

    

6. Registration fee Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) and S.C./S.T/PWD candidate may pay Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and fifty only) through online. Please obtain a receipt for the payment of the fee.

    

7. If the candidate fails to pay the registration fee and submit the application in time, He /She must pay a late fee of Rs. 500/- till 26-02-2024.

    

8. Please keep the printed Application Form and Fee receipt carefully with you for further reference and for submission at the time of Certificates verification.

    

9. Make a note that the process of registration to appear for the Entrance Test will be possible only after the payment of the Registration Fee.

    

10. Physical submission of the Application is not required.

BRAOU B.Ed-ODL Eligibility

• The candidate should be an Indian citizen.
• Candidates should have passed with at least     50%     of marks either B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.C.A./B.Sc.(Home Science)/ BBM/BBA/ B.E/B.Tech.
• The candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC/PWD should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
• The students who wish to take admitted in B.Ed. with       B.E/B. Tech must have Science/Mathematics as one of the subjects.
• B.C.A. candidate must pass Intermediate with concerned subjects to opt for the Methodology.
• The Candidates who passed the qualifying examination by  May/June 2022 are alone eligible.
• The candidate do not have the required percentage of  marks in Undergraduate, the marks secured in Post-Graduation will be considered (If he/she studied a relevant subject at PG)
• Apart from the above, the candidates must fulfill any one of the following conditions as per NCTE-2014 Regulations.

Should be Trained in-service Teachers in Elementary Education (NCTE-recognized Teacher Training completed.

Should have completed NCTE-recognized Teacher Education program in Elementary   Education through face-to-face mode (TTC/D.Ed./D.El.Ed./B.El.Ed./TPT/HPT/UPT/B.P.Ed/D.P.Ed.-Qualification is must).

• The reservation for SC/ST/BC/PWD categories shall be as per the rules in vogue.
• EWS quota seats will allotted to the eligible candidates on production of the relevant certificates/documents.
• Candidate should have completed 21 years as on 1st July 2022. There is no upper age limit.

Note:

1. As per GOMS No: 92 and GOMS NO.13, the candidates who passed MBBS/BDS/BPT/BAMS/BL/LLB/B.Pharm/BHMT/BVSC/B.Sc.(AG)/B.A.(Language s)/BOL etc. and other such Professional and Job Oriented courses are not eligible for admission into B.Ed. Programme.
2. Diploma in ECE /PSE, Diploma in Arts Education and other Pre-Primary Teacher
3. Training Certificate/Diploma (PPTTC) completed candidates are not eligible for admission into B.Ed. (ODL) Program.

Medium of Study

The entrance test will be conducted in Telugu language (medium) only

Tuition Fee

Rs.40,000/- to be paid at the time of Admission for the entire program of two years.

02 Academic years

BRAOU B.Ed-ODL Syllabus for Entrance Test

The Entrance Test Question Paper will have 3 parts for 100 Marks with 100 Objective type (Multiple Choice) questions.

• Part-I: General English Comprehension (25 Marks)
• Part-II: Proficiency in Telugu (25 Marks)
• Part-III: General Mental Ability (50 Marks)

Mode of Entrance Test

Entrance Test will be conducted Online [Computer Based Test (CBT) mode].

How to Register to Appear for the BRAOU B.Ed.- ODL Entrance Test

1. Pay the Registration fee and Register through University portal www.braouonline.in from 22-01-2024.

Details of BRAOU B.Ed.- ODL Entrance Test

Entrance Test will be held on 05-03-2024 from 02.30 PM to 04.30 PM at selected

Examination Centres. The University reserves the right to allot candidates to any other Entrance Test Centre(s) other than their choice in unavoidable circumstances.
