Central Bank of India Apprentice: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualifications recognized as such by the Central Government. Applicants must have completed their graduation on or after 01-01-2022.

Age Limit (as of 31-05-2026)

  • Minimum Age: 20 Years.

  • Maximum Age: 28 Years (for Unreserved and EWS candidates).

  • Candidates must have been born between 31-05-1998 and 31-05-2006 (both days inclusive).

  • Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates, and 10 to 15 years for PwBD candidates as per government rules.

Stipend Details

  • Selected apprentices will receive a fixed monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000/- for the entire engagement period of one year.

  • Apprentices are not entitled to any other allowances or benefits during their training period.

Selection Process

The selection methodology for the Apprenticeship program consists of the following stages:

  1. Online Examination: An objective-type test covering General/Financial Awareness, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, Computer Knowledge, General English, and Central Bank of India Products & Services.

  2. Test of Local Language: Candidates must be proficient in the specified local/official language of the State they are applying for. Candidates providing a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet showing they studied the local language are exempt from this test.

  3. Document Verification: Satisfactory verification of educational certificates, date of birth, and category documents.

  4. Medical Fitness: Candidates must be declared medically fit as per the bank’s requirements.

Steps to Apply for Central Bank of India Recruitment 2026

Candidates need to register him/herself on the apprenticeship portal – www.nats.education.gov.in, before applying for apprenticeship in the Bank. Candidate with 100% completed profile on the apprenticeship portal, only is eligible to apply to the Bank for Apprenticeship.

  • All applicants will have to apply online for “Apprenticeship with Central Bank of India by clicking the link https://nats.education.gov.in (apprenticeship portal). To apply candidate needs to first login into the apprenticeship portal, go to the section “Apply Against Advertised Vacancy”, search for “Apprenticeship with Central Bank of India” and click on “Apply” button under Action Column. https://nats.education.gov.in/student_type.php
  • If the Applicant has not created his/her profile then he/she will be prompted to first create his/her profile and then Login & Apply.
  • All applicants’ post successfully applying for apprenticeship will receive email communication from BFSI SSC (naik.ashwini@bfsissc.com) containing the bank details for payment of examination fee.
  • All applicants will have to provide their personal information, category, name of scribe for PwD candidates and they also need to give their preference of one districts for their engagement, if selected.
