The General Education Department announced the Second Terminal Christmas Exam Time Table 2025. As per the Schedule by the Board, Christmas Exams will start on 15th December 2025 and will end on 23rd December 2025 for LP, UP, and High Schools in Kerala. For Classes from 1st Standard to 10th Standard, the Exams will commence on 15th November 2025. And for HSE Plus One and HSE Plus Two, exams will be conducted from 15th to 23rd December 2025.  After the end of the 1st Term Christmas Exams, the Christmas Holidays 2025 will start. Schools will close for the Christmas holidays from December 24, 2025 to January 05, 2026.

In Kerala, the school academic year is divided into three terms. The first-term exams are typically held in August-September, followed by a 10-day Onam vacation. After the second term exams, schools break for the Christmas holidays, and the final exams are scheduled for March, after which a two-month summer vacation begins.

1. Subjects Without Practical:
   • Duration: 2 hours 45 minutes (including 15 minutes cool-off time).
2. Subjects With Practical (Except Biology and Music):
   • Duration: 2 hours 15 minutes (including 15 minutes cool-off time).
3. Biology:
   • Duration: 2 hours 25 minutes.
   • Includes:
     • 15-minute cool-off time for Botany and Zoology.
     • 10 minutes preparatory time for Zoology.

Time Duration

• Afternoon Session: From 1:30 PM (On Fridays, 2:00 PM).

For Subjects Without Practical:

• Duration: 2 hours 45 minutes (includes 15 minutes cool-off time).

For Subjects With Practical (except Biology & Music):

• Duration: 2 hours 15 minutes (includes 15 minutes cool-off time).

Biology:

• Duration: 2 hours 25 minutes.
