It is informed that the leftover/supplementary examination-2025 of trainees under Craftsmen Training
The Scheme (CTS) is planned to be held in December 2025. As per the three permissible number
of supplementary attempts, trainees of admission year 2021 (second year of two-year trades) and all trainees
from admission year 2022 and onwards will be eligible to appear in this examination.The trainees (from academic sessions mentioned above) meeting any of the following criteria will be able to take the examinations, subject to them being declared eligible by the institute;
- Trainees who are eligible (based on attendance and FA criteria) but were failed/debarred/absent in the previous examination
- Trainees whose attendance and/or FA entries had not been filled by the institute, but the institute declares them as eligible at the time of supplementary examination
- Trainees whose attendance is less than minimum requirement of 80% but equal to or greater than 50% will be able to take the examination, provided the trainee makeup for the shortage of attendance before the start of examination and the institute declares the trainee as eligible.
- Trainees whose Permanent Registration Numbers (PRNs) were generated after the Mains Examination, provided such trainees fulfil the minimum eligibility requirement before the start of examination and the institute declares them as eligible.

* For trainees who were short of attendance during mains examinations by not more than 50%, ITIs will
be able to update their attendance, based on extra classes held.
3. The examination grievances received through online exam grievance module on SIDH will only be considered. Post closure of examination grievance registration period, no examination grievance for CTS Leftover/Supplementary Examination 2025 will be entertained by DGT.
4. The date wise schedule for Practical Examination is provided at Annexure – A. Conduct of Practical Examination will be the responsibility of respective states.
5. All states are requested to disseminate the information to all concerned trainees and institutes.
