TISS BAT 2024: TISS BAT is also known as Tata Institute of Social Sciences Bachelor Admission Test. It is an conducted by Tata Institute of Social Sciences. There are about 120 seats offered for admission by the institute in the two campuses of TISS. The courses offered by Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Tuljapur Campus is B.A. programme in Social Sciences and BA (Hons.) in Social Work in Rural Development. The courses offered by TISS Guwahati Campus is a three-year B.A. programme in Social Sciences. The application form is available online in the official website. The result of TISS BAT 2024 will be released on September 27th, 2024 and the waitlists will be released soon. It is a university level exam which is being conducted yearly once. Candidates who have passed class 12 or must be appearing in the can apply for this entrance exam. The exam centre is in 22 cities across India.The TISS BAT 2020 will be conducted in April 25, 2020 and it consists of two parts – Paper 1 (MCQs) and Paper 2 (essay writing).

Exam pattern of TISS BAT 2024
Duration of the exam: 90 minutes

Paper 1:
It is a computer based online test. Topics are General Knowledge, English Proficiency, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation and Mathematics. Exam duration is 60 minutes and it has multiple choice questions.
Paper 2:
It is a pen and paper-based test. There will be 4 topics, out of which the candidates should write essay on any the given two. The essay should be 500 words and should be written in 30 minutes. The topics usually will be related to the social issues.

Counselling process of TISS BAT 2024
The exam results will be announced online in the official website. The cut off for the admission will be based on the number of seats available, the number of candidates who have appeared for the exam, their score in their qualifying exam and their performance in the entrance test. The candidates who have passed the cut off will be listed and they should appear for the counselling process. The candidate should go through a personal interview and their performance in this interview will also be considered in the evaluation. The final list will be announced by the institute and they should bring required documents for document verification. The admission will be done after the candidate has paid the admission fee.
