Telangana Minority Residential Educational Institution Society (TS-TMREIS) will release a Notification for Admissions into TMR Schools for the Academic Year 2024-25 for 5th/6th/7th/8th Classes. Online Applications are Started for Telangana Minority Welfare Residential Schools 2024-25 (Admission into Class V/VI/VII/VIII).

For Admissions in Class V through Entrance Test in TMR Schools (Limited seats are available in Classes VI, VII & VIII for Minorities category only through Entrance Test) for the Academic Year 2022-22.

TMREIS has an excellent track record of establishing 204 Minority Residential Schools and 12 Residential Junior Colleges in a span of 2 Years time in 31 districts of Telangana.
These schools are meant for children of poor parents who have a meagre income and economically deprived communities. Age Limit to Apply for TS Minority Schools:

1. Applicants must not have born before and after the following dates.
* Class V – 01-09-2008 to 31-08-2011
* Class VI – 01-09-2007 to 31-08-2010
* Class VII – 01-09-2006 to 31-08-2009
* Class VIII – 01-09-2005 to 31-08-2008

2. The selected Students shall submit all required Certificates at the time of Admission.
3. Applicant Photo and Signature should be in *.jpg OR *.jpeg format
Initially, the schools were catering to 5th, 6th, & 7th class students but are now upgraded up to Class 10th and will be upgraded every year up to class 12. Telangana State government is providing free Boarding, Lodging with all the necessities at FREE of cost like Text books, Note books, uniforms, shoes, sports dress, Cosmetic kits, medical care etc.
The enrolment in TMR Junior Colleges for admissions in Intermediate First Year through Entrance Test for the academic year 2019-20 is being done ONLINE on TMREIS website (tmreis.telangana.gov.in).

INFORMATION TO BE FURNISHED AT THE TIME OF ONLINE REGISTRATION BY THE CANDIDATE:

At the time of submission of ONLINE application the candidate should upload his/her passport size photograph and signature and furnish the following information in the prescribed format.

X class study details like year of study (academic year), school name, location and address.
Annual Income of parents.
Information about Religion/caste:

Option of Group i.e. M.P.C., Bi. P.C. or C.E.C.( Only one group is to be opted)
Candidate can opt any three TMR Junior Colleges in order of preference for admission.
Name of the Examination Centre for appearing the entrance test given at annexure II.
Participation if any, in Sports, NCC, Scout/Guide, Exhibitions and Adventure activities at National, State and District level.
Information about Physical Disability, Orphan or son/daughter of Armed Personnel/Ex-servicemen if applicable.

ABOUT THE ENTRANCE TEST

  1. Schedule of the Entrance Test:

  2. Candidates should report to the examination centre half an hour before the commencement of the test i.e.at 10:30 am.
  3. Candidates should attend the entrance test with the Hall Ticket. Candidate will not be allowed to appear the test without Hall Ticket.
  4. Medium of Question Paper: Trilingual i.e. English, Telugu and Urdu.
  5. Nature of the test: objective type, 50 questions, 50 marks and each question carries one mark.
  6. Composition of the Test: Consisting following 5 sections and all the sections are in the same Question Paper Booklet. Part A is option i.e. the candidates can opt either Telugu or Urdu language subject.

  7. Standard of the Question Paper: One class below the class in which the candidate is seeking the admission e.g. If the candidate is seeking the admission in class 5th the standard of the test will be of class 4th.
  8. Model Question paper of Entrance Test is given at annexure – II
  9. Method of recording the answer: Candidates will be provided with separate OMR answer sheet for recording the answers by choosing the correct answer and darken the relevant circle in the OMR Sheet against the corresponding Question number with Blue/Black Ball point pen. Sample OMR answer sheet is given at annexure III.
  10. There is no negative marking.
  11. Candidates should use Blue/Black Ball point pen only for darkening the relevant circle in the OMR answer sheet for answering the questions.
  12. Once the answer is written it cannot be changed and there should not be any overwriting.
  13. The OMR answer sheet should be handled carefully and it should not be folded, mutilated, stapled, wrinkled, nor tied with thread.
  14. After receiving OMR answer Sheet by the candidates in the examination hall, the candidates have to check up their names, hall ticket numbers etc. printed correctly on the OMR sheet. If the data (H.T No. /name of the candidate) is missing or incorrect, it shall be replaced by blank OMR sheet and the candidate has to write the details like his/her name, hall ticket number etc. at the place earmarked in the blank OMR answer sheet.
  15. The question paper is different for every class. Hence the candidate will be provided with the relevant question paper.
  16. Separate A4 size paper will be provided to the candidates for rough work on the request of the candidate.
  17. Candidates are allowed to enter into their allotted examination rooms 30 minutes before the commencement of the test.
  18. Late comers will be allowed up to half an hour after commencement of the test and no extra time is allowed for late comers.
  19. Candidates are not allowed to enter the examination hall after 30 minutes from the commencement of the examination.
  20. Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination hall till the completion of the examination schedule even though he/she has completed the test.
  21. No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall without handing over the OMR answer sheet.
  22. Candidates will not be allowed with any written or printed material, calculators, cell phones and smart watches into the examination hall.

VIII. CRITERIA FOR SELECTION OF CANDIDATES FOR ADMISSION

  1. Candidate should get Minimum qualifying marks 17 in the Entrance Test for getting admission. However Selection of candidate is done based on the merit in the entrance test and rule of reservation of TMREIS and medically fit at the time of admission.
  2. Mere appearance of the test will not vest any right on the candidates to secure the admission in TMR Schools.
  3. The admission of the candidates will be confirmed only those who are medically fit.
  4. If more than one candidate get the same marks/rank in the entrance test, then the selection of candidate is done based on the marks secured in Mathematics subject in the entrance test is considered, if the candidates possess the same marks in Mathematics subject also, then the marks secured in English subject in entrance test is considered, if it is also same, the D.O.B is considered i.e. senior students will be given priority.
  5. Candidate belong to orphan, disabled, Armed personnel/Ex- Servicemen children the seats are allotted from the respective category as per the rule of reservation of TMREIS. If any vacancies are left over in these special category candidates, the seats are allotted to the other candidates of the same community based on merit in the Entrance Test.
  6. The admission of the candidates will be confirmed only those who are medically fit.

IX. DOCUMENTS TO BE FURNISHED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION
Following documents in originals with one set of Xerox copies should be submitted by the selected candidates at the time of admission:

  1. Study certificate duly mentioning the Date of Birth issued by the concerned school where the candidate has studied during the academic year 2019-20.
  2. Aadhaar card (photo copy).
  3. Parents Annual Income Certificate issued by the Tahasildar.
  4. For SC, ST and BC candidates caste certificate issued by Tahsildar
  5. For disabled candidates medical certificate issued by the concerned Medical Board
  6. For Armed force personnel/Ex- servicemen children – certificate obtained from concerned authorities.
  7. Converted Christians – Certificate issued by the concerned authorities as mentioned below
  • For the persons of Scheduled castes converted to Christians & their progeny (BC-C) the community certificate issued by the Tahsildar.
  • For all other persons converted to Christians either of the following proof shall be submitted.
  • The Transfer certificate/leaving certificate/Bonafide issued by respective schools wherein it is mentioned as Indian Christian/Roman Catholic/Anglo Indian.
  • The Baptism certificate issued by Church authorities to the student/Individual or if in case student does not have Baptism certificate then their Father/Mother/Guardian’s Baptism certificate.

9. Record sheet/Transfer certificate (to be submitted after confirmation of the admission).
10. Two Passport size Photographs of candidates and one Photograph of Parents.
X. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES

  1. Before submission of ONLINE application candidate should fill the sample application form given at annexure – I
  2. All the column given in the application should be filled carefully with correct information.
  3. There is no scope for change of any particulars mentioned in the application once the application is submitted on ONLINE.
  4. Parents/Guardians are responsible for any wrong entry in the application from.
  5. Candidate has no right to claim the admission in TMR Schools by mere appearing the test.
  6. Candidate should appear the test with Hall Ticket.
  7. Application can be submitted through ONLINE up to 20-03-2022.
  8. For admission into VI, VII & VIII (for minorities only) the candidate should go through the vacancy position at annexure IV.
  9. The marks secured by the candidate in the entrance test will not be displayed or revealed to the candidates/parents/others.
  10. There is neither provision for revaluation of the answer scripts nor providing the copies of valued answer scripts to the students/parents.
  11. The provisional selection of the candidate shall not vest any right with the candidate to secure admission. The admission shall be confirmed only on production of required documents as stated in the prospectus failing which admission will be cancelled.
  12. The Secretary reserves the right to postpone/modify/change of admission schedule or change of examination centre.
  13. In case of any dispute the decision of the Secretary TMREIS shall be final and binding on the candidates.
