Odisha Degree Seat Availability and Cutoff Details
Following the second selection round, a significant number of seats remained unfilled. Over 1,69,398 seats are reported as vacant, with the highest concentration in the Arts stream (84,465 seats). Other vacant seat counts include Physical Science (33,091), Biological Science (19,179), Commerce (22,048), Sanskrit (6,528), Self-Finance (3,568), and Law (67).
Along with the third round merit list, SAMS will also release college-wise, district-wise, and course-wise cutoff marks. After the third round concludes, it is expected that over 70,000 seats will still be vacant. These remaining seats are planned to be filled via the waitlisted candidates and during Phase 2 counselling. SAMS will publish details regarding post-third-round vacancies by August 3.
