According to the official TImetable published by the Tamil Nadu School Education Department, it has been announced that the half-yearly examinations for Classes 6 to 9 will be conducted from December 15-23, 2025, while for Classes SSLC, Plus one, and Plus two will be organised from December 10-23, 2025.

Tamil Nadu Half-Yearly Exam Dates 2025
The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu, has announced the 6th,7th,8th,9th, 10th, 11th & 12th Standard Half Yearly Exam Time Table 2025 on the official web portal in online mode. Tamil Nadu will conduct half-yearly examinations from 10th December to 23rd December 2025. - The half-yearly exams are scheduled to take place from December 10 to 23. The half-year holidays will begin from December 24, and schools will reopen after a 12-day break on January 5, 2026.
