TGMREIS School Admission 2026-27: Class 5th Fresh & 6th-8th Backlog Vacancies Notification Released: The Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGMREIS) has released the official notification for admissions into TGMR Schools for the academic year 2026-2027. Applications are invited from eligible students belonging to Minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Parsis, Jains, Sikhs & Buddhists) and Non-Minority communities (SC, ST, BC, OC).
This notification specifically covers fresh admissions for Class V in 205 TGMR Schools across the state, as well as backlog vacancies for Minorities in Classes VI, VII, and VIII.

Note: The notification specifies eligibility criteria for Class V (Fresh) and Classes VI, VII, VIII (Backlog). Criteria for Class IX and X are not provided in this document.

Age Limit
- Class V: Born between 1 September 2014 and 31 August 2017.
- Class VI: Born between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2016.
- Class VII: Born between 1 September 2012 and 31 August 2015.
- Class VIII: Born between 1 September 2011 and 31 August 2014.
Annual Income of Parent
- Rural Areas: Below Rs. 1.5 Lakhs.
- Urban Areas: Below Rs. 2.0 Lakhs.
- Note: The income limit is not applicable to children of Disabled persons and Armed Force/Ex-Servicemen personnel.
Nativity: The student must be a resident of the Erstwhile District of Telangana State where they are seeking admission.
Selection Process
The method of selection varies based on the community category of the student:
For Minority Candidates (Muslims, Christians, Parsis, Jains, Sikhs, Buddhists):
- Selection Method: First-Cum-First-Served Basis.
- Selection is based strictly on the date and time of the application submission.
- Parents will be called for admission in the order of their application submission.
- Note: Even if Minority candidates are unavailable, these seats will not be filled by Non-Minority candidates.
For Non-Minority Candidates (SC, ST, BC, OC):
- Selection Method: Lucky Dip System.
- The selection will be done through a draw of lots at the school level in the presence of a Selection Committee and parents.
- If the number of applicants is less than the available seats, direct admission will be granted without a lucky dip.
Reservation Pattern
- Minorities: 75% of seats (Muslims: 64%, Christians: 7%, Buddhists/Sikhs: 4%).
- Non-Minorities: 25% of seats (SC: 6%, ST: 4%, BC: 12%, OC: 3%).
- Special Reservation: 3% of seats within every community quota are reserved for Orphans, Disabled, and children of Armed Personnel/Ex-Servicemen.
How to Apply
- Online: Applications can be submitted free of cost through the official website tgmreistelangana.cgg.gov.in or the TGMREIS Mobile App.
- Offline: Application forms are available at any TGMR School. Filled forms can be submitted to the Principal, who will upload the details online.

- Passport size photo and signature (under 100 Kb).
- Student & Parent details (Name, DOB, Gender, Aadhaar Number).
- Previous study details (School name, Class).
- Income Certificate details.
- Community/Caste details.
