TG CET 2026 Telangana Gurukul 5th to 9th Class Admission

TG CET 2026 TELANGANA GURUKULAM 5th to 9th Class Admission 2026-27: Notification has been released for Common Entrance Test for Admission into 5th Class and Backlog Vacancies for 6th to 9th Class for the academic year 2026-27  (in TREIS, TSWREIS, TTWREIS, MJPTBCWREIS)21st Century Schools.  According to the official Schedule, the Application process starts on December 11, 2025, and the Last date for registration is January 21, 2026. TG CET 2026 is Scheduled for February 22, 2026. Remaining details, such as eligibility, Exam Pattern, required documents, and the Application process, are provided below.

Applications are invited for admission into class V, Class VI-IX backlog vacancies, and Class VI in Special schools, i.e., Sainik School, Rukmapur and Fine Arts School, Malkajgiri. For Class IX in COEs i.e., TGSWRS/JC Alugunoor (CoEd), TGSWRS/JC Gowlidoddi (G) and in Class VIII i.e., TGTWRS/JC Khammam (B) and TGTWRS/JC Pargi(G) in (643) Residential Schools run by various Residential Educational Institutional Societies in Telangana State.  The Entrance Test for admission into Class-V in [4] Societies and Class–VI to IX in [3] societies for the academic year 2026-27 is scheduled on 22-02-2026 [Sunday] from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm and examination centres are in the Telangana Districts and the centres selected by the concerned authorities across the state for classes 5th to 9th.

 TS Gurukulam Admission 2026-26: Eligibility

For admission into Gurukulam Schools in Telangana, in Classes 5 to 9, for the academic year 2026-27, students must meet the eligibility criteria. They are explained below – 

• Parents’ annual income should be below Rs. 1,50,000 in rural areas and Rs. 2,00,000 in urban areas.
• Admission of candidates to classes V, VI, VII, VIII, and IX in the erstwhile district is specific. A candidate who is studying class IV / V to VIII, respectively, in the erstwhile district is allowed to apply for admission to [4] / [3] Societies in the same erstwhile district only.
• A candidate appearing for the Entrance test must be studying in Class IV / Class V to VIII, respectively, for the full academic year 2025-26. The candidate who has already passed/studied classes V / VI to VIII in previous academic years is NOT ELIGIBLE to apply & appear in the entrance test.
• “Person with disability” means a person suffering from not less than forty percent (40%) of any disability as certified by a medical authority.

V TG CET 2026 Exam Pattern

The Exam Pattern of TG Gurukul CET-2026 entrance exam is given below. 

• The entrance test will be in the following subjects for 2 hours, for 100 marks in Objective-type questions.
• Answers should be bubbled in the OMR sheet.
• The Entrance Test question paper will be in both Telugu & English Medium
• Previous Year Class Books to be Studied for the Syllabus.

TG CET 2026: Mode of Selection for Admission in Schools

1. Merit in Test.
2. Reservation criteria (based on the rules of the respective societies).
3. Nativity.
4. Special Category (Minorities, orphans, children of the Army personnel, ST students of the Agency Areas and children of the employees who are working in the Agency Areas).
5. If more than one student scores the same marks, the rank will be decided based on the marks secured in Maths, Environmental Science, Mental Ability, English, and Telugu, considered one by one to determine the rank. If everything matches, the date of Birth will be used as a criterion, with the older one given the opportunity.
6. The reservation for physically challenged Children (Divyangulu), Orphans, and children of Army personnel is considered in their respective caste reservation quota.
7. The Chief Convener has the right to allot the seats of one category to another category if there are no suitable candidates in any reservation category.
8. Vacancies in the special categories (physically challenged, orphans, children of army personnel) are filled in accordance with government directives.
9. If the Tribal students in the Agency areas and the Children of employees working in the Agency areas are unavailable, these vacancies are filled with Tribal students as per the government’s directions.
10. The Chief Convenor has the right to reject the admission of any student who got selected if he/she is found ineligible for any reason.
