Union Bank of India offers 395 regular posts across five management cadres. Vacancies are distributed across various scales, ranging from Scale-II (Manager) to Scale-VI (Deputy General Manager) in specialized streams like IT, Risk, Law, Finance, and General Banking.

Educational Qualifications

All educational qualifications must be obtained through full-time regular courses from recognized universities or government institutions:

• General Banking & Specialist Stream (IT / Tech): Graduate degree in any discipline, or B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, ECE, EEE, Software Engineering, Data Science, or AI/ML depending on the specific post.

• Finance, Credit & Risk Streams: Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI, Cost & Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or full-time MBA / PGDM with specialization in Finance or International Business.

• Law Officers: Full-time Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

• Architects & Engineers: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) with valid COA registration, or B.E. / B.Tech degree in Civil, Electrical, or Fire Engineering.

Selection Process

The selection pattern varies based on the cadre scale and the total number of applications received:

1. For Posts Up to Scale-III:

   • Online Written Test (if conducted): Consists of Professional Knowledge (100 marks) for Specialist Officers, or Aptitude + Professional Knowledge for General Banking Officers.

   • Group Discussion (GD): Conducted if decided by the bank.

   • Personal Interview (PI): 100 Marks (Qualifying marks: 50% for General/EWS, 45% for Reserved categories).

2. For Scale-IV, V, and VI Posts:

   • Shortlisting via Group Discussion / Assessment Test and Personal Interview (PI).

5. Note down the system-generated Provisional Registration Number and Password.
